We recently integrated the possibility of publishing Reels automatically, without any notifications. Some of you reached out and mentioned you preferred the option of publishing through our mobile app. And we get it! Planable works the way you do, not the other way around.

This is why we came up with this latest update that allows you to choose how you want to publish Reels: directly or through mobile notifications.

You’ll find the option in the page settings, and with one click, you can switch between the options whenever you need.

This latest update for LinkedIn allows you to customize the way videos show up on your page. You no longer need to rename the file before uploading it in Planable or hope for the best when it comes to the thumbnail. Set them up exactly as you envision them.

When uploading a video, you’ll see the file name at the bottom. Simply select and edit it to a catchy and relevant title* that will get your community excited.

For the thumbnail, you’ll find the option to edit the video in the left corner. You can choose any scene from your video or upload a custom thumbnail. Something that will stop people mid-scroll to press “play."

*Due to API limitations, the option to update the title is only supported for company pages at the moment.

We’re beyond excited to share this latest update: Reels can now be published automatically* to your Instagram account.

That’s right, you can forget about those mobile notifications. Simply plan, preview, and schedule your Reel. When it’s time to publish, off it will go, on its own. No further action required from you.

The only thing you need to do is make sure your video is between 5 and 90 seconds long and has a 9:16 ratio.

*This applies to all accounts that already have access to direct publishing (Instagram business accounts linked to a Facebook page).

We've made it much easier to download media left by any other user in Planable directly from the comment section. We all know the debates over content lead to multiple suggestions from your team or client. You can through several options of assets before you get to just the right one.

With this new update, once someone suggests a new image, you simply click on the download button. From there, feel free to edit it or upload it right into the post. As simple as that.

Creating content takes a lot of resources. Rules say promoting it should take 4X more. We want to challenge that with our latest feature: recycling posts. If you’re a fan of evergreen content and have been using the repost feature endlessly, this will make your life 100% easier.

The new scheduling option allows you to have the same post published several times in a row, at your preferred cadence: daily, weekly or monthly. Depending on your content strategy, you can choose to have the exact same content each time or tweak each post individually.

You can manage all posts at once or one at a time, and see your entire sequence at a glance.

If you’re a fan of our internal posts feature, you’ll love this latest update. You can now set your preferred default visibility for all new posts: hidden to some or visible to all.

No hiding each new post manually. Simply go to your workspace settings, enable this option, and have all posts be internal until you make them visible to everyone.

We’re delighted to bring a new Instagram feature to Planable: Image tagging. Boost your engagement and content’s visibility by adding tags to your images.

You can press the Tag People button from our composer. Then, you can mention an Instagram profile in a photo by entering “@pagename” in the tagging area of the post composer.

You can select the User or Page name from the list of social network pages by selecting the mention and then typing the exact page handle.

What you need to know:

• Only Professional accounts can be tagged (both Business and Creator)
• The maximum number of tags per picture is 10

We’re super stoked to announce the latest format available in Planable: the oft-requested Reels.

With this latest and shiny addition, you can now get approval on literally any Instagram content format there is, from feed posts, stories, and now Reels.

Upload your videos, write a caption, and schedule them. It’s that easy.

Things to keep in mind about Reels:

• They need to be 9:16 ratio
• Between 15 and 90 seconds long
• Publishing is done through a notification on our mobile app

Excited to present the latest update to the mighty and powerful List view.

Select posts easier, one by one or all at a time. We’ve also added an option to quickly re-order posts from first to last or vice-versa.

And the best part? A dynamic menu based on the selected posts. If all the posts selected are approved, you won’t see the option to “approve” them anymore. But to “revoke approval”, “schedule”, or “copy to”.

Depending on the status of the majority of posts selected, you’ll see the most relevant options. No worries, all possible actions are still there, we just highlight the ones that are most likely to be used.

Improvement

We’re happy to announce we’ve revamped the option to copy posts across workspaces to ensure a smoother and more efficient experience.

You’re now able to search through the pages and workspaces, to quickly find where you want your post to be copied.

But what we’re really excited about is the new option of “Keep scheduling”. For posts that should be published at the same time across workspaces, simply check this option when copying them. You no longer need to individually schedule them. All done with one click, just how we like it.

We’ve also made several updates to our link previewing feature, ensuring an accurate preview for all posts with a link.
